SWEET PASTRY (SPECIAL PUFF PUFF)
Recipe:
Flour - 500g
Sugar - 4 tablespoons
Salt - 2 Pinches
Yeast - ½ tablespoon
Onions - 1 medium bulb
Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
Egg - 1 or 2
Milk - 2 tablespoons
Corn Pepper/Bonnet red Pepper/Chilli
Lukewarm water
Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Method
1.
Filter the flour and add all the dry ingredients and mix together
as in normal Puff Puff.
2.
Add lukewarm water to the egg and mix till the barter is smooth.
3.
Cover and allow to rise for about 45 minutes.
4.
Add the Onion and pepper.
5.
Fry in a deep heated Oil.
