PLANTAIN MOSA
Recipe (For 16
medium plantain mosa)
Over ripe
plantain - 1
Plain flour - 3 heaped tablespoons
Fast action
yeast - 2 teaspoon
Warm water - 8 tablespoon
Hebanero
pepper/ground cayenne pepper
Salt to
taste
Vegetable
Oil for frying
Method
1. Activate the
yeast for 10 minutes.
2. Blend the
plantain or mash with a fork and pour into the yeast.
3. Add the
salt, flour and other desired recipe and mix very well.
4. Allow to
prove for almost 3o-40 minutes.
5. Then add the
pepper and mix together
6. Fry in a
deep heated oil.
7. Serve along
with Samosa, spring roll and peppered gizzard.
Note:
· Other recipe
may be added like nutmeg, cinnamon e.t.c. but it is better for it to be simple.
· You may use
banana but not over ripped
