SAMOSA
Recipe for Pastry
v Flour
v Sugar
v Corn starch

v Baking powder
v Milk
v Egg
v Nutmeg
v Salt
METHOD
1.     Mix flour, sugar, corn starch, nutmeg and salt together.
2.     Beat the egg and add water to it.
3.     Pour into the flour (dry ingredients) and allow to prove for about 30mins
Note:  If evaporated milk is to be used pour it into the beaten egg mixed with water.
4.     Get the non-stick pan, rub oil on it and allow to dry
5.     Pick the brush, dip in the pastry and rub it round the non-stick pan
6.     Pick immediately and keep in on floured tray

Recipe for samosa fillings
v Minced meat
v Green pepper
v Carrot
v Sweet corn
v Spring onion
v Onion
v Maggi
v Salt
v Ginger
v Garlic
v Curry & thyme

Method
1.     Put a little oil (vegetable oil) in a non-stick pan.
2.     Put in it the onions and allow to fry
3.     Put in it the minced meat and santé
4.     Add the carrot and stir for 2mins
5.     Add the sweet corn and green pepper with the spring onion and stir.
6.     Add Maggi, curry, thyme and salt and stir together.
7.     Pour into a drainer and later transfer into a tray.
Note: for the Maggi and salt to be well dissolved, you add to the meat before adding the vegetables.

Wrapping of samosa
1.     Get the paper (samosa dough/ pastry) and put in the fillings at one end.
2.     Fold the paper by the two sides and gum together with the barter.
3.     Fold in a triangular form till you get to the end.
4.     Gum the end with your barter.
